phew.
That was a nice full weekend.
went to centro Warwick on Saturday & Sunday to do volunteer gift wrapping for the Salvation Army, which I only JUST found out was actually church! :O I had NO idea... And I thought we were doing it for St Vinnie's.. lol. Guess not. But met the people there and they were quite nice. And very enthralled with mother's methods of wrapping presents. My wrapping efforts are mediocre lol. but i can wrap boxes and small "linear" things fairly neatly and quickly! haha. when there was random breaks in people coming to get wrapping done, i went into Best&Less which was right behind our tables! ;P we got some shopping done on both days. Heh.

Ribbons. Pretty colours. And good for curling, but not so much making bows.

we need some of those huge rolls they lasted for ages!! I did buy some lovely wrapping paper at Red Dot yesterday though. also bought a new pair of leggings and a pretty dress for Christmas. it doesn't look so good by itself, but i saw the potential :P aahaha. it looked nice on though.
There was the cutest lil boy who came to get his presents wrapped with his dad, and one of them was the first HP movie! :) So I had a nice little chat to him about his DVD collection. It's so nice to meet another HP fan :) I've also started listening to Australia's Premiere HP podcast, Sonorus! It's pretty entertaining so far :D Nice to hear from people in Australia. :) I'll be damned if people from Singapore started up a HP Podcast! That would just be really random. although apparently, quite a few Singaporeans listen to mugglecast?? that's so lol.
Today was slightly busier than yesterday, we started at 1pm and were sposed to go through 5pm, but then people started leaving and shops were closing.. so we just left earlier than we were sposed to! made our way to caris's house, where i dropped her present off quickly :D I also tried to look for my HP5 dvd but Maddi didn't leave it behind :( boohoo.
went to church early this morning, and after that we went to centro early. went to Kmart and tried on a couple of things because they were having a special 40% off all womens dresses and skirts this weekend! :D And the only thing that looked purty was this dress. i thought it was $30 but it was actually $40.
Imagine my surprise when it rung up as $24 at the cashier! :| ahh well. i loves it.

(hahaha i realised if you make the pic bigger, you can see a random biscuit tin at the top of my cupboard. NO i don't keep food in my bloody closet! There's nail polishes in there.. hehe)
This shall be my NYE dress. Although I need a cardigan or something as it is pretty low backed. lol. and low cut. dad is gonna freak out.
Also bought Akiel his birthday present. A spiderman colouring pack :D Good old Spidey.
He's my favourite Marvel superhero :)
Driving lessons tomorrow morning, and Tuesday arvo. Yipes.
Sposed to pop into the city with Mum on Tuesday because she has a dental appointment. I don't know why she wants me there too, but ahh well, hopefully I get to see Carrot on her only free day! :)

In other news, my laptop was quite sick for a few days, but I finally found the best cure! :) AHh the sweet satisfaction of healing my poor laptop. Now I need to help Em with her problem, since I got it from her in the first place!! lol.. :) it was such a bloody time consuming process.. but i got through it, and now my computer is working in tip top order. except for just now when my internet connection kept getting lost. stupidly designed laptop wireless switch.
I should return to cleaning now. My room has gotten worse since I tipped over three boxes full of crap the other day trying to rush out. ARHH.
and i've yet to prepare for my design interview.... which is not smart since i'm procrastinating when i really REALLY really shouldn't be. but i'm kinda scared since all the artwork i've seen done by graphic design students are absolutely fabulous, even if their themes were weird or scary! :S How will my pathetic excuse of an art folio ever compare with their artwork!! :S
okay. off we go.
