Guess what I caught (for real :P) the day after i arrived back! :D

i must say, i reckon HSM 3 is the best out of the lot, it's got some really nice songs, and they even managed to make Troy's "usual" solo song, not so horrible to watch as Bet On It.

i love some of the songs, and i would definitely watch this over again! :)
in other news:
i haven't said much about the Twilight soundtrack, other than some crazy fan girl yelping. (inwardly, of course)
but i think its absolutely fantastic! :) but i do have my doubts about where some of the songs will fit into the movie.. however, since hearing on many fansites and articles etc, that the soundtrack is blended really well, i'm not too worried.
it's a really good listen though, as a cd in general, and RPattz's song Never Think is quite nice, despite the random 90second guitar intro... (which i'm not complaining about, it's some nice guitar playing!)... and the mumbliness of it. but meh. Paramore's Decode is a really good song, I really love it! I hadn't listened to paramore much, but i like their sound nonetheless. and I Caught Myself by paramore is also quite a good song. :) my surprise fave out of the lot is Flightless Bird, American Mouth by Iron and Wine? (I think) it's a real chillaxing song, and i just love it so much! i'm going to try hunt down some more Iron & Wine music, in the hopes it's as good as this song! :) those are my main favourites of the album, but the rest of the cd is pretty damn awesome too, those songs were just awesomer. :P i give it approx 4 stars! :)
bella's lullaby is... not what i expected. you have to really let it grow on you. then you can sort of feel Edward's pain. lol. so i'll just have to judge it when i see how it's used on the movie! :)
ahh can't wait!! :D

Haha i finally figured out how to stop the damn flash on photobooth :D

totally didn't expect to see it in Sanity today!!! me and audrey totally squealed and gave the two people beside us a fright. or maybe it was a severely weirded out look. haha i don't know and don't care! :D also got a nice gold nail polish and some funky jelly eyemask from the reject shop.

anyway, i had a migraine-ish headache which made my face really hurt last night after work, so after watching Ghost Rider and having a go on my new ex-rental The Sims: Hot Date expansion pack, I went to sleep and didn't wake up until 4am. then i didn't get out of bed until 6am.
haha.
spent the morning cleaning up a little, then sat down with a nice pot of peppermint tea or two and reread Breaking Dawn. i missed out quite a few details in my first rush through the book, so i read it nice and slowly this time! :) after that i went to booga, primarily to track down boss man and get my pay! :P
but he wasn't around so i just stayed and chatted with one of my workmates for a good hour and a half! :) then walked around waiting for audz.. trying hard not to buy anything. lol.
but the temptation was too strong when we saw the twilight soundtrack :D
Bella's lullaby verdict: not what i expected, but still awesomely awesome.
River flows in you always comes into my head when i think bella's lullaby, but this one is alright! just because bella's lullaby is supposed to be all piano, and this one is orchestra and piano.. but they did clarify this wasn't bella's lullaby per se, but more edward and bella's love theme. so meh. and i'm loving Paramore's song Decode on the album. haven't really listened to the album fully, but it's pretty good from what i've heard! and RP's song is a little mumbly, but he did say it was made to suit the scene, so I guess i'll have to wait and see what he meant by this.
AND OMFG
hoyts is doing super early screenings on the 1st and 3rd dec... and i won't be here!!!!!
OHH the pain and devastation.
lol.
ahh well, i'll watch like a hawk for sneak previews in S'pore i guess. :)

Manager rang at like 11.15pm last night, I'd been asleep since like 10pm so I was totally like blerghhhh ? hahaha

Went to bed so freakin' early for me! It was odd.. But I was waking up early so meh.
Had to go into work after uni today, but went to Kmart first and bought my long awaited CD!!

The Last Goodnight - Poison Kiss.
Look at the friggin' awesome graphics man... i love it. looks like they've gone wild in Corel Painter or something.. but it's exquisite =D
Listening to the album now, and contrary to the name, the songs are not at all poisonous :P but very relaxing songs, and the lead singer's voice is surprisingly soothing.
a perfect fusion of percussion, guitars and electronic.. effects? lol. instruments? whatever they're called.
my fave song by them is Stay Beautiful. They're only just starting to play it on the radio now.. I liked it first!!! hahaha just kidding :P
Pictures of You is mildly overplayed, but I still like it muchly.
anyway, it's an excellent cd for chillaxing to.
i'm gonna have a nice round of cd burning to do... :) which blows cos my laptop is freakin' slow.
I was on my feet for so long today my legs were about to die haha.. Quite busy today, by the end of the day my brain was totally switched off and i nearly stuffed up some dude's lottery order.
and stupid manager got me hooked on freakin' bingo scratchies. GAH. At least I sorta won my money back :P He was doing one that had the last 2 registration numbers 88, (chinese lucky numbers), so i thought I'd be cool and get the unlucky ones 44 :D And i'd get my kicks laughing in his face when i won something and he didn't :P
but we were both unlucky..
so much for reverse psychology dangflabbit. haha
well i really shouldn't be here, but i figured i hadn't posted for awhile, and plus i'm bored stiff researching freakin' pop culture and wedding dresses. GAH.
Ok, i'm off, got to do a couple more things before popping off to bed.

Needless to say, I'm in a much better mood today..
This arrived!

Yayyy!
I've just listened to the whole album and it's an awesome mix of quite girly music, and random songs from the movie (obviously).
Fun songs to just bop along to.
My favourite song is the St Trinians theme song, it's just a wicked song. :D
I absolutely love it.
Pretty average day today, uni mostly.
left our last lecture early because Audrey finished early, so we decided to get out so we could leave with her..
And our tutor was sick in our tutorial, so we had the lecturer come in and try to go through the homework with us. of course the way he explained it was MAJORLY complex, which left our whole class going WTF is he talking about..
And apparently we all did our homework wrong, and he was going blah blah blah about how we were supposed to do it, and no one was really understanding what he was crapping on about.
So we left that class with our brains fried.. lol.
now i'm just waiting for Friends.. :P

Been helping Moe with her electronic arts assignment. Yesterday, we set off on a journey hoping to get to somewhere in South Perth where there is a but stop sticker that has been vandalised in an entertaining way :D However we did hit a few snags in the journey! After going to Santa (boy that was a trip down memory lane!) as visitors nonetheless, we headed to Curtin to try and get a video camera loaned out. I'd just collected my large painting which i don't like very much, and is definitely not good, and we had some trouble trying to fit it into the car due to the wooden 'planks' it has.. haha. here's a random sketch that the Facebook crew did! :D hahaha.

ANYWAY. off that tangent...
when we got there, Moe had to wait awhile for the electronic arts dude to come, and when he did, the battery was dead! :(
So we lost that plan of filming yesterday, however we did proceed to Gelare to have iced coffees.. hehe.
we headed back to mine after, and started to brainstorm... After awhile, we got the idea of a vaguely stop motion thing.. like heaps of pictures put together to make a movie :D not quite the exact same as a stop motion, but as best as we could with a digital camera!
And here are the beginnings of the thing. it actually starts with a movie of moe drawing that line onto her big toe.

Haha i realise it looks kinda sinister, but i promise that it's not really! :)
Anywho. Back to production :D hehe
Oh yeah and before I forget! :D
I purchased the HP&OOTP soundtrack on itunes. bad bad idea. i should've just got the CD.. i can't use them on premiere anyway! bad the soundtrack itself is pretty good. Must say Nicholas Hooper did a pretty bang up job! :)

Ooh I just remembered I've been neglecting my blog. hehe.
Been busy trying to do another website for my earrings! :P Not for sale of course, just to keep track of them. http://www.freewebs.com/spangiepantz . feel free to go click around! :P
Been ebay-ing lately, and so far, I've bought a digital photo frame, 4GB USB Thumb drive to replace my missing one (and it looks like a gold encased lipstick! haha), 2 harry potter keychains, a pink watch to give Audz for Xmas, a Celtic pendant on a necklace cord for Emmy for Xmas, a dodgy cheap camera for Jerri, which I've already given her and I think thats all.. Oh no wait, and an AWESOME hand made black and gold ring modelled after the Peverell's ring description in HP :D Its so awesome. Except the gold has started to rub off. ahh well, nothing lasts forever. It was made by this girl in the US and she made this awesome collection of jewellery which are in effect the Horcruxes in the HP books... So cool.
I've also gone and bought the Across the Universe soundtrack from JB HiFi, except I didn't realise Australia only has the dodgy soundtrack that has only half of the songs!! I was like GRRRR. But I've ordered the full version from the US and it is costing me just about the same price as this soundtrack was. GRR. That'll teach me to buy on impulse again. :P But the soundtrack, (or what I have of it) is great, and this new blog song is one of the songs off it. If you don't know what Across the Universe is it's a musical movie which has many Beatles songs in it, and it certainly reflects the 70s era well..But I thoroughly enjoyed the music; i'm not even a Beatles fan, I hardly knew any of the songs! I knew a couple though.. (: But the music is excellent, some people have even said that the movie's versions of some songs were much better. i have to agree, i wasn't a big Beatles fan.. But Jim Sturgess has a beautiful singing voice, as did Joe Anderson ! And Bono was in the movie too, I thought he looked and sounded familiar! Evan Rachel Wood sings well too!

My fave songs have to be All My Loving, Hey Jude, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and I've Just Seen a Face.
I don't think I'd be able to watch the movie again, it was slightly too odd for me, but I'll be listening to the soundtrack over and over again, no doubt about that!

Moe and I got really bored yesterday, and so we resorted to going to visit Caris :P Had a nice time by the pool, me going crazy with the camera of course! :) Made pizzas for dinner too, and just had a nice time catching up with Caris, and Maddi when she got back! Stayed at Moe's after because she was a wee bit tired to send me home.
Also received my Proof of Age card yesterday, meaning I can buy drinks from the bottle shop and have real ID to show them! except it's the most DISGUSTING photo I've ever seen of myself, I'm not even looking at the camera (STUPID IDIOT who took my photo grrr) and the lighting is so harsh and unnatural. Even the passport photos i got done are so much better! WTF. I hate it. As if I wanna flash the card anywhere! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Stupid Department of Planning and Infrastructure.

In other news, I've handed in my application to change courses next year! :D Into a Design course, and I've got an interview on the 19th of DEcember, which is bad since i'm leaving on the 17th for Singapore!! :O And once again, i've forgotten to ring them.. grr. I don't understand why the f**k they hold the interviews so near xmas. senseless really.
Hopefully that goes well...
Exam on Thursday for PR... Gotta start study for that!! :) Been slacking this whole week trying to regain lost sleep, and shopping! :D And making earrings of course :)

Here I am in Singapore.

Tired, tired,tired.

But on the bright yet dim side :D
I watched most of HSM 2. But couldn't watch the entire movie because the power kept going out!! :(
Guess I wasn't destined to watch the whole thing tonight :( BOOHHOO.

HOWEVER.

I did get the Hairspray soundtrack!! :D
It's AWESOME.

I really should be sleep because I have to be up @ approximately 6am. to get ready for my cousin's wedding. hmm.

Been cleaning like mad today, the dust is all cloggy in my head.

went to IGA with Jerri today, boy that was challenging..

lev, bran and ol came over last night, and the jerri + 2 kids begged me to film their little movie... Or TV show episode.. lol.. It was funny..

but now Premiere Elements is fcuking up which isn't extremely good..

And lookiees i bought a dress on Saturday with this cute little girl on it..

although now i look at it, she looks vaguely emo.

Mum's back from Singapore, and she brought with her:

HP & the Deathly Hallows!

Which of course i plan to re-read... :)

And she also bought us the CDs for Jump In (which btw is pretty awesome!) and High School Musical 2! :D i've yet to listen/watch to HSM 2 but i hope it lives up to the 1st one! :D.

edit// so far it sounds pretty cool can't wait for the movie! :D
