as i was randomly watching videos on youtube today, i found these videos of this guy Ernie Halter who was doing covers of other songs.. initially i clicked on the first video because it was a Miley Cyrus song he was singing and i was like ehh wtf? lol.
but he totally made it his own! He made it really nice and relaxing and his voice was incredible.. and the guitar accompanied it all very nicely. Turns out he actually has a record deal, with an indie record company of course, not major label.. And i listened to some of his songs on myspace, they're so beautiful and his voice is so raw and natural, and the flow of his singing is so nice and natural! I love it! :) Sorely tempted to get his CD. haha.
Plans today changed, didn't go to the movies with Ol, but stayed home and fluffed around on my laptop instead.. I spose I could've started study! But I was kinda sleepy.. Woke up and started to prep to make fried rice, moe came over in the arvo to have lunch and fluff around some more. haha we watched Lovewrecked (again for me i only just watched it couple of days back!). Love it! :)
I got essence of onion in my eye which stung to say the least. haha.
Good news! I found my photography mark sheet from last year so now I don't have to redo the six bloody assignments this year! haha :) Ok, I've got nothing more to say this was such a lame post! :P

Well I was just reading random ninemsn news when I came across this gem.
Rupert Grint was interviewed, and said staunchly that he never wanted to move to LA because it's full of dumb girls like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.
I was just laughing to myself.
I especially liked this part:

“I met Lindsay last summer and she talked about herself a lot," he moaned.

“She said she was going to win an Oscar before she turns 25. I just kept thinking, ‘But you can’t act’.”

Anyway, not much has been going on apart from uni.. Had lunch (well, take away haha) with Mads and Moe today.. Twas fun. :)
Can't wait to go see Mads's new crib, it sounds absolutely wickedddd and she has a freakin iMac. loveeee.
Audz came over and we baked brownies and watched a couple of eps of The Simpsons :D LOVE that freakin' show. :) Friends was excellent tonight :D Our brownies were pretty nice, but nobody beats Betty Crocker in the art of instant brownie manufacturing :P
And I put in a resume at Kmart, woo! :P Although I hope that chick I gave it to gave it to her manager before the job opening closed..

Anyway, I just had to rave about the work of this random photographer I came across on deviantart.
his photographs are absolutely magnificent; the colours, composition, lighting and style are just so.... wonderful.
i'm astounded by his quality of work (:
and when i went on his actual website, not deviantart page, i found out he was also a graphic designer! and his work was simply exquisite. :D
AND he composed music.
Which, when I had a listen, was absolutely stunning.
Just about as stunning and moving as his photography.
Like WHOA multi-talented.
I can only hope that one day, my work could be 1/100th as good as his is.
Talented photographer, graphic designer and composer?
Oh be still, my beating heart!

Empire's Top 100 sexiest movie stars.
MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE actor Gerard Butler made the top 10!!! Scraping in at No. 10 of course, but still!! He's rarely been in the paparazzi's view most of his career, gaining real popularity after the release of 300 this year.
He's been my fave for soooooo long; he won me over with Dracula 2000 a few years ago. except I never knew his name until I watched Phantom of the Opera. :)
And he was a damn fine dracula in that movie :P His accent is so ooooooooohhhhh :P
And of course my 2nd favourite Orlando Bloom squeezed in at No. 21! :D Well, sadly GB isn't plastered all over the back of my door, but only because he never gets any posters or media coverage in our mags! :( Which is sad. But I love OB muchly too!! :) Enough to plaster him all over the back of my door. hehe. not to mention the giant Legolas board thing Maddi gave me last xmas!! :D by far the best present EVERRRR :P And as i've been cleaning.. i've found a whole mountain of OB posters and printed pics.. which means, they'll have to start crawling onto my walls too. :P hehehe.

Angelina Jolie was top once again... No surprises there.. again. lol.

in other newsies. I saw the new 50s style photo shoot Emma Watson had.. I can't be bothered putting up the pics here, since they aren't exactly mine, but you may view them here they are absolutely fabulous. Those are the kinds of photos I'd love to take... So inspired. And she's a lovely photography subject! :) And I love the props, setting and basically everything they did, her hair, clothes, make-up! Ahh.. I'm longing to do all that. So much longing.

Bought tix to Hairspray today! :D:D They were nearly selling out so we're lucky we rushed there.. gonna need to get there hell early too so we don't miss out on wicked seats! :D Can't wait. For the record Zac Efron looks alot better with his dark hair.. :) Ohh I love dark brown hair.

Even though I said I wasn't gonna watch this movie in the cinemas, many people told me that I should watch it because it was pretty good.

Now I'm not that much a fan of robot movies or anything, (but I did like I,Robot!), but Transformers turned out to be a little better than I expected. While Moe and I were supposed to go out to a shopping centre far far away from my house, we hopped on a bus to the train station, then decided we really didn't have the energy to travel that much! So we just ended up at one of the shopping centres near the train station. Had dinner at Billy Bombers, this cool retro American diner place. The movie was pretty good, lots of great effects and not too bad a storyline. And Shia Labeouf just so happens to be one of my fave actors.. :P I love his hair colour its so gorgeous. Yes well, I like chocolate brown hair *shhh*. Its my most fave hair colour! :D But it wouldn't suit me one bit.. :( Which is sad. lol.
Ahh, now my eyes are burning from lack of sleep, so I shall leave.
