went to the 1st singapore tattoo convention yesterday! twas well worth my 18 bucks :D
saw many tattoo artists at work because people were getting their tattoos done in the booths!
even witnessed the art of Sak Yant, a thai buddhist traditional method of tattooing, where the "grandmaster" pokes the design into your skin using a long metal rod.. something i NEVER hope to experience. lol the dude said its a 100 times more painful than normal tattooing!

but the highlight was:

catching a glimpse (more like many glimpses! :P) of CHRIS GARVER from MIAMI INK!!!

but most of the pics i took were pretty crapola, because i was quite far, and my camera can only zoom in so close :( however later in the evening, charms and i were standing no less than 2 metres away from him!! HEHE nice and up close :d
but we didn't get to meet him.. because of the freakin LONG queue..
we could've had the chance though, and we're still majorly angsty about this.

because if we'd just stayed there like we planned to..

Guitar hero is soooo addicatative.

and i realise today it is much harder to play with long fingernails.
I attempted to do Hard mode. however, i've only managed to pass TWO friggin songs.

Should be doing my readings at the moment, but I'd really like to be out with friendles in nb. :(
but i knowest my priorities specially since end of sem is coming up shortly! However amidst my boredness of the evening, I currently have very heavy false eyelashes on my eyes, which make me look and feel like a llama. =D wonderful.
Spent today doing chores, lunching with Audz at garbo during her lunch break, and spending about 15 minutes helping out at work hahaha.
bossman was baffled when he saw me in the booth lol.
but i was only there cos the other dude asked me to go in for a couple of minutes because he was busy looking for something and couldn't serve customers and there was only another chick there who was on training.
OOH I get paid next week YAYY..
Can't decide if I want to buy Wii Fit, get a new dress for next saturday or save up a little more for Wii Guitar Hero, which may come back into stock in about 2 weeks. lol. =D

i would've bought wii fit today, but mum was all like neh neh neh. so i didn't.

It's freakin' awesome.

We fiddled around with iMovie and Garageband.. But not really sure how to use either :P

But I think it's awesome.. the screen quality is so good.. now all that's missing is a good graphic tablet and i'd be good to go!

but i loveeee it.

wish i could just take it away.. hehe. my laptop has been giving me shit the whole day. been carrying it in my backpack the whole bloody day.. gah.

Went shopping for CNY clothes today, because it's Mum's birthday month, she gets 20% off instead of the usual 10% :P Bought around 4 pieces of clothing. heh.
Also been playing with Mum's new phone from China, its absolutely freakin awesome.
I SO regret not saying yes when they asked me if I wanted one. :( :(
but she might hopefully let me have it. :P
you can put 2 SIM cards in it, loads of MP3s, watch videos (although i can't quite figure out what's wrong with my avi formatted vids :(.. they won't play), take pretty good quality camera pictures, and videos! It's pretty damn awesome too, because it comes with my all-time fave "i'm so freakin bored" game, Bejewelled!! :D And it has one of those stylus pens like a PDA that slots in the bottom of the phone. it's just so full of awesomeness. and it was only like 120 bucks. :O
it's camera functions are way cool. :P
anyways, off that topic. lol.
my hols are endinggg NOO and I've yet to get uni shit settled. it's sooo hard trying to organise shit from a different country. BAH.

after losing track of time last night, and only going to bed at around 2.30am (lol), i was awoken sometime around midday by dad. he wanted to go out for lunch, and so i grumpily rolled out of bed and went to get ready.. went to Hans and had black pepper chicken chop as usual.

after that, we walked around the place for awhile before we had to go and pick jerri up from school! she had netball today. how odd. haha.
anywho. i bought some awesome tshirts (ok ok MUM bought :P i simply chose.) from IP Zone, which is a very nice casual clothing store. the tshirts were going at $12 each, and they were coool so mum said we could get some.

Today was mildly hectic, went to Garbo to collect my 130 photos from K-mart and had lunch there after some last minute shopping for stuff.
managed to get myself this awesome ring from Cotton On for $6.95 i think, as well as a black sparkly-ish scarf thing for $9.95.
Totally photoshopped my hand to make it look not so old looking, haha.

Had my interview today.
Pretty chilled out I must say.
Although inside I was dying, and my insides were reeling.
The dude was looking at my art and hmm-ing just like Moe said he would.
hahaha.
He was like, have you ever thought about doing something that involves 3D sculpture like things?
NO WAY.
I only have so much sculpture because that's what school made us do.!!
Anyway the dude seemed to be preparing me for the worst.
SO I don't know. :S
Bah I'm no good with interviews anyway.
Hopefully I get in, right now, I'm hopingwishing&praying that I do. So, so much.
Well he seemed to think I handled the process bit well. hmm.

Leaving on Monday, going back home! Yayyy.

Anywho.
Went to the Christmas shop (Christmas Presence) to look for new xmas decor as well as visit Emmy!! She works there.. =D Spent a good 2 hours looking around, although partly because Jerri had to go to the freakin toilet, and mum had to drive her somewhere else. gah.
i'd love to work there, it's such a joyful place. and they have THE cutest baby presents, baby sock roses, baby sock cakes and cupcakes.. hahaha. :)
Well, it's alot more joyful than my house at the moment. Mum is yelling at Jerri and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. No not really, in fact it's rather pissing me off because mum YELLS for EVERYTHING, and to put the cherry on the ice cream, Jerri CRIES about EVERYTHING.
So yeah, lovely house at the moment.

Yes. Results are out for semester two.
and they are unworthy of a drumroll.
so BAH.
Broadcast Journalism: 58 (Pass) --- dang that essay must've been terrible!
Public Relations: 67 (Credit) --- my exam must've gone okay! =P
Media, Communication & Info: 74 (Distinction) --- YAY our group report must've gone ok!
Graphics Communication: 76 (Distinction) --- ok i definitely know that stupid bloody Design process pulled my marks down.. stupid multicultural poster thing!!!
But at least I achieved my aim for a Distinction =D
overall, a drastic fall to my marks from last semester...
SIGH.
But I know it's my own stupid procrastinating fault.
I'm sure I made the right decision switching over to Design.
I'll be able to focus on the more creative side of moi
assuming it hasn't disappeared... :S
well, HOPING to switch over into design.
which reminds me. TWO days and I've yet to prepare. I don't even have 10 bloody pieces of artwork, because they simply don't EXIST.
They're SO letting me into the course! =P

Went into the city today with Mum after an earlier than usual rise. :P My eyes were still tired and puffy.lol.
While she went to the dentist, I headed straight for Valleygirl, where I swear I spent at least 1 to 1.5 hours searching for presents. =P Of course I emerged successful, but the salesgirls were starting to look mildly suspicious after awhile! =P
And I even managed to get meself something =D I loves it muchly.

I've been going through retail therapy faaaar too much =O I think I'm broke.
Now I'm gonna have to calculate what I spent on presents for myself, and general grocery shopping and necessary supplies!! Or I may find myself very very poor in S'pore. :S
Anyways, after purchasing stuff at VGirl, I headed to Supre to check if the price of that stupid tulle skirt i love so much has been lowered. and guess what. NO. It has not. The freakin thing has been there since Feb this year, you'd think it'd be in clearance right now!!! :( ahh. i wish i could have it.. It looks good worn as a high waist skirt.. but when worn normally at the hip region, i look like an oversized try hard fairy! :P All i need is wings... haha. and some fairy dust.
but i lovessss it. both the black and white versions. not so fond of the grey.
Anyway. i had the intention of purchasing more awesome supre hangers, because they're ever so useful! Then I forgot.. I bought a long black singlet, and also purple nail polish and vanilla flavoured clear lipgloss! lol.

430th post! lol. dang that's alot of posts. but i spose i've had this blog since year 10..
but i haven't been posting every single day.
how so very lol.
been cleaning the bathroom very very thoroughly, my sister and i have.
at least 2 hours breathing in the chemicals, so now my eyes burn and my head throbs. and basically i shouldn't even be awake now but i've yet to digest dinner. which was less healthy than i'd have liked. :P mum's been tired lately, so we've been having fast food. however i haven't had a beef burger from anywhere for a couple of years now, so i just eat chicken at whatever fast food place i eat at! :P
i attempted to take a nap this afternoon, as i had a slight headache. however it was only aggravated by the chemicals later. i fell asleep listening to hide and seek by imogen heap. there's something soothing about her strange electronic voice hahaha. then i awoke because my stupid sister was changing the songs on my ipod as i slept and changing the volume too. GRRR. Then she wouldn't piss off so i just got up and out of bed.
Mum was talking about getting herself and ipod =D but i insisted she have my dodgy one, as she could plug it in with the car charger and FM transmitter in the car, whereas if i was on a bus i wouldn't have a charger. =D so if she still wants an ipod, hopefully she'll buy me one of those new-ish cute square ones. :) hehe. and my sister and i were also thinking about going halves for a Wii =D it's just so... awesome. :P except for the fact that we wouldn't know how to split it seeing as we're going to be in two different countries next year. however, i seem to have her convinced that if we buy one from Australia, the electric voltage in Singapore is different, and therefore the Wii will be useless over there. hehehe.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE actor Gerard Butler made the top 10!!! Scraping in at No. 10 of course, but still!! He's rarely been in the paparazzi's view most of his career, gaining real popularity after the release of 300 this year.
He's been my fave for soooooo long; he won me over with Dracula 2000 a few years ago. except I never knew his name until I watched Phantom of the Opera. :)
And he was a damn fine dracula in that movie :P His accent is so ooooooooohhhhh :P
And of course my 2nd favourite Orlando Bloom squeezed in at No. 21! :D Well, sadly GB isn't plastered all over the back of my door, but only because he never gets any posters or media coverage in our mags! :( Which is sad. But I love OB muchly too!! :) Enough to plaster him all over the back of my door. hehe. not to mention the giant Legolas board thing Maddi gave me last xmas!! :D by far the best present EVERRRR :P And as i've been cleaning.. i've found a whole mountain of OB posters and printed pics.. which means, they'll have to start crawling onto my walls too. :P hehehe.
