angry day today.
i just felt like chucking some belongings into a bag and going somewhere. anywhere.
but watching 2 dvds worth of sex&thecity cheered me up immensely.
my eyes feel puffy and swollen...
wish i had a friend, any friend here today, but oh well. spose they can't always be around.
also found an excellent youtube series (on youtube, obviously) called Quarterlife.
There's only been 4 episodes, each about 10 minutes long, but it's pretty good, and the characters are interesting. It's made like a reality tv thing, but it's not, it's scripted and all that..
edit.. i've watched 6 eps so far, and i think i am officially addicted. i love the character Jed played by Scott Michael Foster, and him & Dylan (who's a girl btw) are so great together, altho jed loves someone else, who is dylan's best friend and roommate. lol.

you know, sometimes i wish i could move out, but heaven knows i wouldn't be able to support myself properly. i'd end up on the street without a roof over my head. so it looks like i'll just have to grin and bear it.

photoshop is being a bum.

i'm working on a little picture/slideshow/animation. i'm really not sure what exactly to call it? it's rather random lol. and it features dumbledore for some odd reason... i was in a strange and bored mood today. i was sposed to be cleaning my room. hehe.
and i'm also insanely hungry.
but that can wait. i spose i better go to sleep. heh.
i sorta wanna get away from perth... somewhere other than perth.. hmm.

Been sick since Tuesday, first time this year I've stayed home because I was sick!
LoL what a milestone ;p
Had to go to an after-hours GP on Wednesday to get an MC as I had 2 assignments due in the next day.. I had actually finished one already, I just couldn't go in to hand it in.. Wisely completed it before I got delirious.. I think i may have started hallucinating at some point during the night, or it could've just been some sort of weird dream/nightmare which felt horribly real. the thing is i don't remember what it was, i just remember experiencing something awful.. lol.
But I got my Snitch earrings from HK on Tuesday!! :D They're alot smaller than they r on the Ebay photo, it doesn't stick true to it's size, but they're still very cute!! :D I haven't had a chance to wear them anywhere though, I've been stuck home since Tuesday.. Well I did pop out yesterday but only to go to the video store with Moe so I could get the movies I needed to do my assignment. i was trying hard to do my oral presentation on wednesday but i was feeling too groggy and weak to make sense of anything, so there went that plan! so i just collapsed back into bed for the rest of the day, apart from when maddi dropped by to borrow some movies and have lunch.. :) well, pretty much a wasted trip back here since i had a grand total of 2 hours at uni this week!! i should be going today since i'm feeling abit better than before, and i need to return a recalled library book before they fine me and i lose all borrowing privileges GAHH i can't lose those i've got too many assignments to do!! well i best be off then, try and finish crap..

Ifeelachyeverywhere.

Hmm, nightmare yesterday, was inflicted with a splitting headache on the bus on the way home last night, so i decided i'd take a nap to let it ease off... Got up at 7.30 pm and commenced my assignment for PR which i stupidly left to the last minute... But it was confusing AND i had essays to write and things to do for photography.

I was highly dazed and took such a long time to put my thoughts into words, and all I wanted to do was go to sleep...

Digestive bikkies and cups of tea were my sustenance through those few hours, and finally when I hit the sack, it was the best feeling ever. :)

Off to uni today, managed to jump on the 7.45 am bus! Which left time for a hotchocolate :)

Talked to Moe on my break between classes and told her she should go for her hazards test, and she did.

I'm sooo very proud :D

To celebrate, we went and watched No Reservations at the movies, it was such a gorgeous movie, with fantabulous acting by Cath Zeta-Jones and Abigail Breslin who shined as two of the main characters.. Aaron Eckhart did wonderfully too of course! :) It made me all emotional, but i didn't cry... i don't really cry in movies. lol :)

The ONLY movie i ever cried to was If Only which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt. It was really sad, REALLY. good movie though.

And Moe dropped us off home when it was over, we were quite tickled that Moe finally passed her hazards and was driving on her lonesome! :D

anyways.

really tired, and must catch up on lost sleep.

cleaning like mad tomorrow.

I was reading a random Chinese Zodiac site and I found these few charming paragraphs about The Snake.
Snakes are romantic and charming. oooh really?
They are deep thinkers and always mysterious. i think deep.. mysterious .. not so sure!
Snakes are graceful and soft spoken. awww.
They love a good book and appreciate all of the arts. ok freakishly correct
They lean towards all of the finer things in life. oooh really?
Snakes trust themselves above all others and are seldom wrong; bahahaha
but behind a sophisticated front, snakes are very superstitious! err.. yay?

Snakes can be possessive in their relationships with others. err.. no..
They are passionate but jealous lovers. wtf. hahaha.
You can never tell how far Snakes will go to achieve their aims. yeah... right.
They are relentless and their computer-like brains never stop plotting. hmm ok maybe a little true.
When you anger them, you feel their icy hostility instead of hearing any sharp words. WOW bullseye on this one, although i'm not THAT proud of it, it's completely true, and i'm a hostility master :P
They will bide their time for revenge, so watch out! yikes. i sound horrible.
Snakes are elegant dressers, well-mannered, and always discrete. ooh, i sure hope i am.
They always appear quiet and docile, but watch out, they never betray their true feelings. quiet.. yes.. docile.. maybe.. that last thing.. errr. no i can bottle very good. not a good thing tho
Their moves are planned out well in advance and they will hold their position to the bitter end. ooh creepy
They can be evasive, and just when you think you have them, they slip away. HEH. mebbe..

Snakes make good politicians since they can negotiate just about anything. eew i don't WANT to be a politician
Snakes also have a great sense of humor, and even in a crisis situation, they can lighten the atmosphere. i'd like to think this is true.
They never lose their spark even when weighed down by trouble themselves. mmm i'll get friends to respond to this one.
Being pillars of strength,they always maintain their presence of mind during confusion or crisis. and this one too.

Snakes have beautiful skin. HAHA maybe when i was a child!
They possess a cool and classic air about them. err. k not sure about this one.
They love expensive things,too. not really..
Snakes save for the real thing rather than buy an imitation. only in the case of CDs and DVDs :P
Snakes admire power and surround themselves with successful people. Yeah not really.
Their many talents and natural abilities make them sought-after as leaders. Again, no not really
People admire and support Snakes even if they don't understand them. whoa really?
Whatever happens, Snakes always strike out for themselves. not sure i understand this one.
They know how to use people and situations to their advantage. hehe.. i do?
They are destined for fame and fortune. YAY!

It seems as though the Singaporean blogosphere is turning into a mish mash of wars between bloggers, what with XX's recent Top 7 most disgusting singaporean bloggers post. Yes and I know, how sad, I've been blog surfing again, but I just wanted to check out all these random blogs that I'd never heard of when I read her post. I discovered that they were all pretty mediocre, and really nothing extremely special... And I don't understand why they have such high readership... But anyway, she was going on about how she didn't like some of them because they were ugly in their photos...
But ugly does not = disgusting does it?
The first blogger she mentioned really does gross me out, with his try-hard personality and narcissistic? self-worshipping.
But the others she attacked for being ugly where simply average, everyday, girl/boy next door looks. Ok, actually the rest were girls.. So girl next door looks. And if there's no hope for them, where lies the hope for all the rest of us! But oh well, that's her opinion. In my opinion the girls are average, not exquisitely beautiful, simply average. Although one of them does look like a squashed monkey in some of her photos... Just like ME hehe. But she's a very skinny squashed monkey.
And so the backlash begins through comments on XX's blog itself, and on the blogs of the unlucky chosen ones. But the most retarded backlash of all, would have to be Chosen one No. #1, Mr Narcissus himself, with his 8 minuteYoutube video where he tries to insult XX by calling her a chicken pie.

I mean, WOW, that must be the highest insult on earth. I'd be appalled if someone referred to me as a chicken pie.
Will someone explain to me where is the sense in being called a chicken pie?
And he called her a midget, several times. When she is an average sized human whose companions happen to be taller than her.
What about real midgets, who were born with no hope of ever growing taller than when they stopped growing. :( Some people do speak without thinking.
But enough rambling.
My throat glands are swollen I think.. And my throat is sore, and itchyyy. Which is making my ears itchyyy. Which is highly unpleasant.

It's been a whirlwind of shopping, eating and sight-seeing these past few weeks as Moe and I wander around Singapore(occasionally looking like tourists with our shorts, t-shirts and running shoes complete with uber-cool knapsacks). The Great Singapore Sale has been taking much money from Moe, but I haven't been shopping quite as much! :P Which is tres surprising. lol.

But yesterday, after stuffing ourselves silly with Indian food at Little india, we decided we'd check out the 24 Hour Shopping Centre Mustafa. It's pretty much heaven lol! But a very crowded heaven... :P

And since I'd just earnt $75 working for mumsy I decided I'd get some things for my iPod.

Cool headphones iPod compatible, not actual Apple ones. iLuv i think was the brand. and they cost me $19.

FM Transmitter. I've wanted one of these for ages!! $28.00

Very fake converse shoe imitations. hahahaha. $18.50. With dodgy butterfly design on the side. but OH WELL.

And but of course, a lovely photo taken whilst very hard at work with Hamz on Saturday. :P

We took many random photos, until Dad finally got annoyed because we kept giggling while we had nothing else to do but take photos.

This evening, Moe, Jerri and I went to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Moe and I had already watched it once before last Thursday, but we a little bit of the beginning, so we decided that we should watch it again! :P Only because movies are so cheap compared to aussie prices. I'd never watch the same movie twice in Perthopia (only at the cinemas of course.)! Never ever.. lol.
So, the first time we watched it, we were highly disappointed because it seemed like it chopped the book up so much and scattered it everywhere and tried to make it fit.
The second time round, it was a little better, but still disappointing! hahaha i mean, yeah i know, it couldn't have changed that much in a span of 3/4 days! So yeah, then we went to Ice Lemon Tee which was havin a crazy discounted sale. Bought 3 pairs of earrings and 2 mini photo frames for only $1.95 like WHOA. lol.
Weird Story
In the shop, two of the staff were looking at Jerri and I and chattering excitedly in chinese or something. The older lady came up to us, then the convo went something like this:
Older woman: "Where you guys from?"
Me: "Singapore, but we live in Australia."
Older woman: "Ohh, your mum is what?" (Bad english, but hey I didn't say it!)
Me: "Emm, she is Filipino..." o_O
Older woman: "Then your dad?"
Me: *feeling a little weirded out*"He is Chinese"
Older woman: *chatters excitedly with chick behind counter* "My friend here says you girls very pretty!" *proceeds to pinch Jerri's cheeks, at which point Jerri looks extremely uncomfortable. And the chick behind the counter is smiling gaily and waves*
Me: ???????? *wtf, right...*
Yeah, then they just keep chattering and smiling and patting Jerri's head and smiling at me trying to get us to buy stuff.
frickin strange. hahaha.
I'm guessing they were only aiming that comment for Jerri hahaha. Cos she got the looks in the family!
Big doe eyes, skinny and nice facial features.
I'm like... Quasimodo compared to her. And she's still young. lol.
I don't really care that I'm not skinny, I'm far from it.
I can't touch skinny with a 10-foot-pole! How unfortunate.
LoL.
I have my friends, my family and that's all I care about.
I don't care about how I look, and I don't care what others may say, because my friends don't really care either.
I just wish that perhaps a special someone will come along and just like me for who I am. But then again, I have a strange erratic personality some times :P So it could be quite impossible. :D
Whatever will be will be.

Haha. Woo, French is still in Brain. YAY.
Speaking of wishing, I love wishing when I see 11:11 on the clock, but it doesn't really come true much. :P
Once I wished for it to be 11:12, and GUESS WHAT.
The watch actually STOPPED.
Like WTF. I'm very unlucky. Which sucks.
lol.
Off to the Chinese and Japanese gardens tomorrow! :D woooo.
I smell like Henna because I've applied it onto Moe's hands with this weird rubber template, but it didn't turn out that great. too light. and i've tried to make a weird butterfly on my left fore arm but it just looks like a slanted smudge.
Hmm. How so very interesting.
I've finally watched Mistress of Spices with Aishwarya Rai in it.
The book was better. :P

My Photography results were crazy./beautiful Wasn't expecting that good a mark.
Sadly, the units i had to study for I didn't do as good. But hey it was almost a distinction for both! But my rents were a little peeved that once again, my arty subject took more time than my study subjects. :( It's like Year 11/12 art and design all over again. :(
