such awful weather it was today.
the wind was howling everywhere and rain was coming at you from all directions. yet the sun was still shining in your eyes.
it's like mother nature venting her wrath on us.
but anyway.
since i missed out work yesterday, I had a shitload of crap to catch up on today. it was like NON-stop busy, except for when i helped to do this HUUUGE coffee run for some students who'd just arrived from Korea. and when i went to get lunch. :P
but it was sooo incredibly busy today.
anyway, just had to come and ramble about how i was so busy today.

Back home in singapore! =D
Well, I have been since Monday, but I lacked the motivation to blog. hahaha.
The flight was alright, I had less than 2 hours sleep before we left so I fell asleep on the plane and only woke up when they started serving lunch. Watched Superbad on the plane, and about 1/2 of Stardust. Superbad was sort of weird... Mildly gross but sometimes funny. but i loved Michael Cera in it.. At least I think that's his name.. lol. Stardust was prettty good, quite funny but I wish i got to finish it! lol. Absolutely loved Charlie Cox. Though it was a lil random how his hair grew longer while the lightning ship captain was cutting it. haha.
Had Sakae Sushi when we got back SO freakin good.
And my new house is so so so nice :D:D I was pleasantly surprised, I think it's even nicer than my old one, and plus it's a HDB flat. my old house was a condominium. Hamz came to visit yesterday and she thought it was bigger than my old house! haha..
one week to christmas!! yay
and the GREATEST news is that Dad bought a Wii for Christmas!!! YAAAAAAAY
Well, really, he asked auntie sab and uncle nelson to get it duty free at perth airport because it's strangely cheaper than singapore.. but YAAAAAY
Watched Enchanted at the cinemas yesterday, and it is the most cutest movie, and I love the singing in it it's so funny.. Patrick Dempsey looks SO good in that kingly kind of costume, and Amy Adams was so innocent, very believable.. it was a really gorgeous movie. James Marsden was excellent too, he was hilarious as the prince in the real world. Fell in love with the movie, and can't wait for the DVD and CD.. :)
Weather's been alright, it's rainy season so it hasn't been unbearable. it's actually been raining so the air is cool.. :) let's hope it stays like this.. so glad i'll be missing out the aussie heat for awhile =D

New experience today.
Driving on freakin' WET roads.
I mean, the cool air rushing through the windows while tearrain drops splatter on your cheek is.. kinda nice. But trying to keep concentration on what the driving instructor is saying, the wet roads, and keeping the car straight just sent my brain into a confused frenzy. He also made me do a 3 point turn, twice! That was not fun. It wasn't explained very well, so I got mildly confuzzled. And I spose I better brush up on my road rules. Hmmph. I got every single answer wrong when he asked me. =P BAH. Driving ain't no bed of roses. I don't care how many times people tell me it's easy, I don't think i'll ever get the hang of it properly.. My brain functions weirdly... hahaha.
Made a new bracelet today (yes, i know, not ANOTHER one!) But I was bored... =p

I love my just about 3 year old camera. Tis a Nikon Coolpix P2 and it functions b-e-a-utifully. :)
Even my dad is in awe of it. :D And he is hard to please! lol.. I hope it stays alive for awhile longer, i'm going to be very sad when it does die. :(
Been making some jewellery today, ahh forgot to take a pic of one, but it is hanging around my neck, so meh.
Made 2 necklaces, and a bracelet, all of which I have never ever made before! My speciality lay in earring making.. :P

Aside from jewellery making, I was rudely awoken by the sound of Yoda saying "Your phone, ringing it is, press the button you must." =p
It was the driving instructor, who i was only supposed to be meeting at 2.30pm today. And what, you may ask, was the time then? Only 8.30am! I was freaking out, and mum wasn't even there, so i quickly rang her, because he was outside and i was in no fit state to drive! I was only semi-conscious, having had a late night yesterday.. lol. so there goes my lesson for today, cos the dude got it wrong.... hmm. i'm not loooking forward to them anyway, i'm too paranoid to get behind the wheel and drive. The only time i've ever gotten behind the wheel, we barely made it past the neighbours house because mum was too paranoid about my attempt at driving. hmm the paranoia must be genetic! lol. but yeah, not looking forward to it one bit, partly because of the pressure i'm under to try and take the driving test ASAP, and partly because i have never intended to learn and am most displeased that i have to now. i have great doubts in my ability to handle cars, the only thing i can do in them, is pop the hood, pop the boot, start the engine and turn the radio on! (argh i just brutally stabbed my ear with my thumbnail. it is now throbbing.) anyway, i just can't wait for this bloody week to be over.
Leaving for Spore soon, and i'm so happyhappyhappy. I wanna see my dad, and my bestest friends again. :) and i wanna escape the summer heat!! lol. actually it's been pleasant lately, warm with a chilly wind.
going to good ol' harbourtown with audrey on friday, for some much needed retail therapy. :)

Yesterday evening, Moe, Carrot, Jerri and I headed to Garbo to catch The Simpsons Movie!
After waiting in a long line for quite awhile, we finally got inside, eagerly anticipating the start of the movie!

Overall, it was pretty funny and outrageous, as usual, with its many quirks and random moments! The plot, which has been kept quite a good secret, was a little strange, but nonetheless imaginative even though they did copy parts of the plot from different movies, e.g. the truman show.
nonetheless it was highly entertaining and humorous, but also touching!
Yesterday, I also invested in a Tarot Card set for $19.95 at a Newsagents while I was out doing the groceries.
The cards aren't as nice as normal ones, as they feature people photoshopped onto cartoon drawing like figures. But trying to do a tarot reading isn't extremely easy if you don't know everything! I had a strange reading the first time I did it, which was mildly accurate so a little freaky! Obviously it didn't turn out the same for the rest but ahh well! (:

Auntie Mich has been kind enough to let Jerri go over to her house to play, so she's out of my care for a couple of hours on the weekend! So i did some groceries, cleaned the house a little, then Audz came to visit!
So off we went to Bullcreek shopping centre to shop, and then we picked Jerri up after we were done..
Last night Moe, Jerri and I watched Hook, a movie I've been meaning to catch for a long time given it is nearly 16 years old! Pretty cool movie, I didn't know Steven Spielberg made it! But it was a pretty good movie anyway. And I just finished watching The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that was pretty awesome too. I haven't read the book even though i've been meaning to read it for awhile now, but can never seem to get my hands on a copy! :( i shall persist in my quest! :D
Had a pretty uneventful day so far, been to church [woo!] and the supermarche :P
And i'm feeling rather chilled.
